As you can guess, Im not really much of a fan .css on deviantART. I think its yet another step towards ending up like myspace.

Hell, I have no problem with myspace, infact, I do enjoy looking through the masses of profiles, and I hardly ever see any anime/manga softcore there.

I love deviantART, and I love myspace, I just dont want them to mix. deviantART's fluent clean look always apealled to me, but now thats gone, because we're gonna be full of really badly designed .css. All to those who can do it properly, but I think it makes dA look less professional overall.

I didn't appreciate it when staff had it either, but It was gonna end up as a feature to us anyway.

I know this is gonna sound like i'm an old fart who doesnt want progression, but this is going away from the art in deviantART.

Peoples pages used to be about the art on them. Now masses of people are gonna be turned away at crappy .css on pages.

Having a good .css is gonna end up as being more important than having a good gallery to extent.

I just don't think this is the right way for dA to go, there's loads of other things they need to sort first. This seems like a way to make more trouble.


Also pissing me off this week is the "popular" section. 85% of the time it's anime fanart/softcore porn/both together, WITH ADDED KAWAII!111!111 ^________________^

I have no problems with this, I'd just rather not have it on the front page all the time. I haven't seen an icon on the front page in about a month. or longer, I can't remember how long its been.

Overall, I have found deviantART has slipped again further away from the ART. Why not improve the prints service? Make that work better?

Okay, I dont think there is much point to this, but making this .css look like myspace was to show how close they are now.

Maybe that april fools joke might just come true.



In other news, I didn't get the first job, Oh well.

BUT! I got another interview for soon! (ish) Its for the 16th October, And its for working in the agricultural section of Newcastle University.

Hopefully this'll go better than last time, I've got a 50% chance of getting it!

Otherwise my life is pretty slow and boring, not much news there =\
